Player ratings: Fulham v Manchester City

Hart – Did well in dealing with balls into the box, aside from one punched effort. No chance with the goal and few saves to make. 7

Zabaleta – He doesn’t score tap-ins! Pablo’s attitude can be summed up by the way he was making a tackle immediately after the game restarted following his stunning second goal for the club. 8

K Toure – Another solid performance from the player whose form has benefitted most by the managerial change from Hughes to Mancini. Stayed fully focussed in the second half when others were getting careless. 7

Kompany – Our leader at the back once again. One stretching interception to put a cross out for a corner, ahead of the Johnson was the stand out moment of our defending. 8

Kolarov – As attack minded as anyone else in the team, as witnessed by the break that saw him clean through in the first half. Strong and comfortable on the ball, the Serb adds a new dimension to our play. 7

de Jong – His under-rated passing was at it’s best during the opening period. Kept on doing the dirty work during the second half to preserve the comfortable lead. 8

Barry (Vieira 82mins) – A perfect response to his England woes. The small Craven Cottage pitch suits his passing game. A key player in our first half domination. 7

Y Toure – Perfect first touch and finish to open his goalscoring account. Playing high up the pitch, almost alongside Tevez, paid off this time. Didn’t over exert himself in the second half mind. Maybe Kolo could have a word. 7

Silva (Milner 88mins) – Flitted here, there and everywhere to give Fulham the runaround during the first half. Didn’t always provide the killer pass or finish to match his skills, but was still instrumental in our victory. 7

Tevez (A Johnson 77mins)- Captain Fantastic once again. Looked fully fit this week and what a difference it made. Aside from the goals, his hunger for dropping deep and linking up the play destroyed Fulham. 8

Jo – The surprise selection. Still knocked off the ball with frustrating ease, but gave us a useful aerial presence for Joe Hart’s clearances. Showed some decent touches in linking up play, particularly for the third goal. 7

Subs:

A Johnson – No doubt Adam will be frustrated to have only got on when we were in containment mode. Little opportunity to shine. 6

Vieira – Came on to relieve Barry and close out the game. 6

Milner – No time to make an impression.

Man of the match: Carlos Tevez.
