Elia – from the Dutch team. Reminds me of SWP, only a lot better, skillful, aggressive, and very good eye for the ball, and he’s only 21!
Oh yes, and he currently plays for Hamburg who are fast becoming our “feeder club” (Kompany & Boateng!).

If we were going to get Ozil we needed to wade in before the world cup because by time the tournament ends we will not have a cat in hell’s chance of getting him. Also hope we don’t go for Krasic as has been rumoured. He was dreadful on Sunday and from other matches I have seen, I think he is massively overated.

I wish we’d bid for Lahm to – both players looked good!
Podolski looked handy to (we were linked a few years ago) and if Craig were to leave, he looks a similar player on the left… and is left footed…
Muller had a good game to… hell, can we buy the german national team

Mesut Ozil is my pick definately. I think you can tell a real quality player on one performance, and in the game I saw him play about 12 months ago he was magnificent – as impressive as Ribery at a similar age.
